John Smith
I found a couple colour stills of my scenes on the Net
I had been working at Don Bluth studios in Ireland for three and a half years when I got a call from Disney.I had written to them and enquired about the opening of the Paris Studio. They wanted me to go to LA and I jumped at the chance. I knew that I was to be working on Pocahontas and was delighted when I got there to find that I would be working with John Pomeroy whom I considered and still consider to be one of the best draughtsmen I have ever seen. Pocahontas was a very demanding project as the characters were so realistic. Here are just a few of my John Smith drawings on Pocahontas.
